2022年9月3日当院が開院し、無事1年が経ちました。

これも開院に向けて内装、電子カルテ、血液検査やレントゲンなどの画像を行う機械を導入に尽力していただいた業者の方々、開院後も協力していただいているコンサルの方々のおかげです。もちろん当院で、たゆまぬ努力と絶え間ない仕事をしてくれているスタッフにも感謝しております。また、当院を受診・通院していただいた方々にもお礼を申し上げます。

当院は、内科の病気の中で、特に免疫疾患を専門とした施設です。免疫疾患には、免疫が過剰になることで起こる病気（自己炎症性疾患、自己免疫疾患）と免疫が低下・欠如して起こる病気（免疫不全症）があります。

「膠原病」は、一般的に免疫が過剰な病気を指しますが、今は(　)内のように分けられたりします。日本ではいわゆる膠原病もしっかり診療（診断・治療）する施設として当院を立ち上げました。なぜなら、日本において、膠原病は、病院で診るものという固定概念があるためです。もちろん関節リウマチやそれに似ている疾患も診療します。この1年間、当院を初めて受診した方もいれば、治療に難渋されクリニック・病院から転院された方もいらっしゃいます。例えば、関節リウマチの方は、手足の関節の症状を起こしますが、先行して間質性肺炎を起こすこともあります。間質性肺炎が起こると呼吸器内科を受診されると思われますが、肺だけでなく、他の臓器にも起こるので、肺だけで対応すると、全身のバランスが取れず、また薬剤の選択が不十分になる可能性もあります。免疫機能の異常は全身に起こっているので、それぞれの臓器をバランスよく維持しながら、全身的に治療することが、「人自身(患者)を治療する」ことだと考えています。

また病院以外では都内でもほぼ設置されていない肺拡散能力も行える精密呼吸機能検査も設置しています。
当院で心エコーも行うことにより、膠原病関連の心臓及び肺疾患にも対応しています。さらに、治療薬についても病院と同様のものを扱っています。間質性肺炎があれば適宜呼吸機能検査を行ったり、肺高血圧症の確認が必要であれば、まず心エコーを行ってスクリーニングをしております。

杉並区だけでなく、東京都内、日本、さらにはアジア中から、診断・治療に悩まれている方が多く訪れていただき、元気に幸せになっていただけるようになることが当院の理念です。
今年度も一般的には難渋する疾患の症例も学会に報告する活動も続けております。ポスターではなく口頭発表でしたので、それだけ評価されているのだとは思います。

これからも当施設は、症状の重症の程度によらず、すべて患者さんを診療するべく進んでいきます。
この信念は困難に直面していくかもしれませんが、勇気をもって未来に向かっていきます。

We would like to thank all of the vendors who worked tirelessly to install the interior design, electronic medical records, and machines for blood tests, x-rays, and other imaging, as well as the consultants who have continued to work with us after the hospital opened. Of course, I can only thank the staff who work tirelessly and ceaselessly at our clinic.
I would also like to thank all those who have visited and visited our clinic.

We are an institution specializing in the field of internal medicine diseases, particularly immunological diseases.Immunological diseases include diseases caused by an excess of immunity (autoinflammatory diseases, autoimmune diseases) and diseases caused by reduced or absent immunity (immunodeficiency diseases).

The term “connective tissue disease ” generally refers to diseases with an excess of immunity, but now it is sometimes divided as in parentheses. Our clinic has been set up as a facility that also diagnoses and treats connective tissue disease well. This is because in Japan, there is a stereotype that connective tissue disease should be treated at a hospital. In the first year, some patients have visited our clinic for the first time, while others have transferred from clinics/hospitals. For example, rheumatoid arthritis causes joint pain and joint swelling, but it can also be preceded by interstitial pneumonia. When interstitial pneumonia occurs, one would expect to see a respiratory physician, but dealing only with the lungs may result in a systemic imbalance and inadequate drug selection. Connective tissue disease is a systemic disease. Since immune dysfunction occur throughout the whole body (in all organs), We believe that treating a person systemically, while maintaining each organ in balance, is “treating the person himself.

We also offer pulmonary function tests including diffusing capacity of the lungs for carbon monoxide (DLCO), which are almost never set up outside of hospitals, even in Tokyo.

We also treat connective tissue disease related cardiac and pulmonary diseases by performing echocardiography in our clinic. In addition, we provide the same medications that are available at hospitals.

Many people who are struggling with diagnosis and treatment will visit our clinic from not only Tokyo, but also from all over Japan and even Asia, so that they can feel happy.

We will continue to go forward to treat all patients regardless of the severity of their symptoms.
